Workshop Services

SSR operates on the east coast throughout Victoria and New South Wales. Our Quality Accredited and highly experienced workshops provide rail vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance workshops, for both freight and passenger rail vehicles. 


In Victoria, Bendigo Rail Workshops operates on the broad gauge rail network and with the ability to transport standard gauge wagons and locomotives to our depot by road truck, we are able to provide maintenance and repairs to all rail vehicles, both broad and standard gauge. Additional field service maintenance teams are based out of Melbourne.


In New South Wales, Lithgow Railway Workshop primarily provide maintenance support to the locomotives and wagons operated by SSR and other rail industry operators, together with external work including call-outs to equipment breakdowns, wagon and locomotive maintenance and repairs. We also have field service maintenance teams based out of Cootamundra, Gunnedah and Nowra.
